Editorial policy and transparency

How Capillaroscopy.com creates, reviews, updates and corrects educational capillaroscopy content, including conflict handling and editorial transparency.

Educational purpose

Capillaroscopy.com publishes educational content on nailfold capillaroscopy for health professionals. It does not replace individual clinical assessment and is not diagnostic software.

Authorship and review

Content is prepared from scientific literature, teaching experience, and internal editorial review. When a page has a named author or reviewer, it is shown visibly; if no named reviewer is shown, the page does not claim individual review.

Reference selection

Guidelines, consensus statements, reviews, methodological studies, and relevant clinical studies are prioritized. References are visible on page and corrected when errors are detected.

Updates and corrections

Educational pages show last-updated dates when available. Corrections can be sent from the contact page with the URL, exact fragment, and supporting reference.

Conflicts and editorial independence

Potential conflicts are handled conservatively: educational conclusions should follow visible evidence, not product, device, or business interests.
