Eduardo Ramos Ibáñez is a software engineer specialized in machine learning and deep learning, with a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Zaragoza. As founder and CTO of Capillary.io, he leads the technical strategy and development of an AI-driven software platform for nailfold videocapillaroscopy, designed to help clinicians standardize, accelerate and improve the quality of capillaroscopic examinations.
He has collaborated closely with Dr. Borja del Carmelo Gracia Tello and other clinical experts to translate capillaroscopy expertise into robust algorithms and practical tools for routine use. Eduardo is co-author of several peer-reviewed publications in the field of capillaroscopy, including work on comprehensive videocapillaroscopy practice, clinical validation of automated image analysis software, and the development of quantitative algorithms such as CAPI-Score and CAPI-detect for objective capillaroscopy.
